overview of the final year project

Assalamualaikum..

Final year project (FYP) programme is a requirement for all bachelor of engineering technologies students that must be taken on semester 6 and 7. As for now, i am on semseter 6 and i am taking the FYP part 1.

For the assessment methods, 75% will come out for the coursework which is the prototype or hardware that fully working and the other, 25% is for the writing report. 

It included with many learning outcomes. By the end of this course, the students of semester 6 should be able to:

• recognize the tile and scope of research project
• identify and apply the methodologies to develop the research project
• carry put the feasibility study and prepare the costing for real industrial projects
• produce literature review of the proposal project
• present and defend their project proposal
• produce a project/technical report

For the bachelor student, the requirement is to work individual on a project independently. 

At the end of this semester, around week 14 i guess, all students must present their proposal.
